Book early for the best prices
We have recently made some changes to our pricing structure. From September 2018, ticket prices may vary for different performances according to demand. By booking early, you can secure the best seats at the best price. We guarantee that prices will not vary for Preview performances, Monday evenings and midweek matinees*.
These changes will help us to ensure that our organisation is sustainable and that we can continue to create world-class theatre, support ascending artists and engage all communities of Bristol in our work for years to come.
To access the best prices at the earliest opportunity, you could consider becoming a Friend of Bristol Old Vic from just £36 per year (£3 per month), to get 7 days’ priority booking for all Bristol Old Vic productions.
*Exclusions do not apply Tue 18 Dec 2018 – Tue 1 Jan 2019
We’ve scrapped our booking fees to simplify the ticket buying process, and to become more transparent at the point of purchase. If you choose to have your tickets sent via post, however, a £1 fee will apply.
Postage fees (per order, not per ticket) cover the costs of postage and packaging so that Bristol Old Vic can continue to create pioneering theatre, support ascending artists and widen access to our programme. Print-at-home tickets (a PDF attachment) do not have to be printed and may be presented instead on a mobile device when you come to a performance at the theatre. Please have them downloaded and ready to show the usher when you arrive. Paperless ticketing goes towards supporting our aim to become a more environmentally sustainable organisation.
If the performance you have booked is within the next 7 days, your tickets will default to collection from the Box Office. If you do not receive your tickets in the post, they can be re-issued by the Box Office on the day of the performance. We do not post tickets to overseas addresses.
