Birthday Family Day
On 30 May we turn 256! To celebrate our big day, we’re throwing a giant birthday party and we want you to come.
Our birthday party will be jam-packed with creative and hands-on activities for all the family, with space to explore our historic theatre in a fun and informal setting.
The celebrations will run from approx. 11am to 3pm, but you are welcome to hang around and enjoy the foyer space for as long as you like!

As a treat for younger visitors, we've prepared some delicious lunch packs to keep hunger at bay during your visit to Bristol Old Vic's Family Day!
For just £4.50, you can pick up a bag including: a sandwich, a clementine, gingerbread, juice, and a box of crayons - as well as a bag of veg crisps to share. Just purchase from the bar when you arrive!
