Angels in Bristol
The Story of Christmas in 9 MiraclesA mysterious star has appeared over the slopes of Southmead...
A mighty exodus brings hope of a promised land named Weston-super-Mare...
A great ark begins to take shape on the waters of Bristol’s harbour...
Tom Morris, Julia Head and Vanessa Kisuule (Bristol City Poet 2018–20) have united with schools and communities across Bristol and the region to create a truly Bristolian version of The Greatest Story Ever Told. This is the Nativity, but not as you know it, retold as a story of miraculous hope in a city aching for change.
Created from the soaring poetry of Vanessa Kisuule, with music from Dan Jones and Guy Hughes, and imagery by Limbic Cinema, Angels in Bristol will be delivered as nine short stories, landing in your inbox every day from 20–28 Dec, and available online until 5 Jan to be viewed from the comfort of your sofa, in the warm glow of your Christmas Tree.
