Bristol Old Vic update regarding the latest National Lockdown | 12 April
In line with the Government’s regulations for coming out of lockdown, we are delighted to be able to take our first steps to welcome you back to Bristol Old Vic with outdoor eating and drinking in our King Street Cabins. You can find all the details of this offer here and also how we make your visit as safe and secure as possible.
We are still eagerly looking forward to the moment when we can welcome audiences back into the theatre for live performances, and we will let you know the moment that is possible.
Until that time we continue to work closely with other theatres, the Arts Council, Equity and DCMS to ensure that the interests of the independent artists who provide the rocket fuel for all of our creative industries are protected.
All customers who have already purchased tickets to suspended shows this year will have been contacted directly by our Box Office with their options. Wherever possible we will be rescheduling events so no-one has to miss out on a show they’d like to see.
We will also continue to champion the importance of creative opportunity in every part of society, particularly in challenging times such as these.
The digital strand of our Engagement work will continue to provide courses, workshops and activities for groups and individuals who need it. If you or your child are involved with any of our Engagement work, including Young Company, our Engagement team will be in contact with updated information as it arrives.
