This playbill advertising The Elephant of Siam on 12 April 1830 is proof that our star-spangled cast of past performers includes an elephant!
The Committee Minutes from 8 March 1830 show that the back wall of the stage onto the Rackhay had to be removed to fit the elephant through. We wonder where the elephant slept…
