ITV West at Bristol Old Vic

At the end of April, ITV West came into Bristol Old Vic's main auditorium mid-redevelopment and recorded a very interesting news item on the theatre. It was broadcast live on 27th April 2011 but you can still watch the 2minute feature by clicking on the link here.

"One of our region's most important and historic theatres is undergoing a major facelift and refit. The Theatre Royal at Bristol Old Vic has already been stripped back to its 18th century state. The multi million pound refurbishment work has only been going for a couple of weeks, but already the archaeologist on site is getting very excited indeed by some of the surprising discoveries."
