In the Light Everything is Brighter | Meet Toby
11 Jul 2018With their debut show on the horizon, we're getting to know each of the 12-strong company who make up this year's Made in Bristol company, WILDERBEAST. Next up, Toby Prichard!
Tell us a little about yourself and how you made it into this year's Made in Bristol company.
I graduated from the European Theatre Arts course at Rose Bruford College in 2017. During the summer I performed in the Dreams Before Dawn festival in Paris, and completed residencies with Grusomhetens and Bred in the Bone theatre companies. I had really enjoyed my time with the Bristol Old Vic Young Company in my teens, and I was very excited to have the opportunity to join the Made in Bristol scheme.
Whats been your favourite moment of Made In Bristol so far?
I really enjoyed leading a workshop about Michael Chekhov.
What does WILDERBEAST mean to you?
Fun, friendly and talented.
Is there anything exciting you can reveal about this year's show?
There may be sticks.
What are you looking forward to on completion of the course?
To create more theatre and to develop my acting career.
