Mog the Forgetful Cat answers our burning questions!
1 Feb 2023We couldn't be more excited for everyone's favourite furry friend, Mog, to take to the Bristol Old Vic stage over the February half-term.
We managed to find some time in Mog's busy schedule of tree adventures and naps, to find out a little bit more about the cat behind those oh so famous whiskers.
Have a read below!
1. Hi Mog! Can you describe your perfect day?
My purrfect day is waking up on Debbie and Nicky’s bed then having an egg. And then a nap. And then exploring the garden, then I’ll chase a butterfly then I have an extra long nap. Then I have dinner and go to bed.
2. How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Boiled purrlease.
3. Do you have any top tips for remembering important things?
I am a very forgetful cat. You’re going to have to ask Debbie, she remembers everything.
4. How many of your nine lives do you have left?
I couldn’t tell you for sure but I have flown out of many trees - and an attic window!
5. Do you have a favourite toy?
Bunny! My pink bunny toy, I bring him everywhere.
6. How did you feel when Judith started writing books about you? Is it nice being famous?
Someone did ask me for my autograph once, but my signature is paw-full.
7. You're quite an old cat now - how do you stay in shape?
I do my stretches everyday. And I fly out of trees.
8. Are you going to enjoy travelling around the country and meeting new people? A lot of cats wouldn't be that brave!
As long as I'm with my family, I know I'll be ok.
9. What sights are you going to visit while you're in Bristol?
I would quite like to go to Fishponds, I hope it lives up to its name! And maybe Henleaze will have some eggs. And then Bedminster for a nap.
Mog the Forgetful Cat, presented by The Wardrobe Ensemble, runs at Bristol Old Vic across the Feb half-term (14 - 18 Feb, with a Relaxed Performance on 16 Feb, 1.30pm). Find out more
