Many thanks indeed to you and all your staff who worked so hard to make last night's event such a success. The Studio, Balcony and Coopers' Hall looked great, and your professional and friendly staff were a credit to you.

Spaces – Corporate Events

Coopers’ Hall

Centrally located on historic King Street in the heart of Bristol, is the magnificent, Grade I listed Coopers’ Hall.

With its high ceilings and huge over-arch windows, the elegantly-renovated hall will provide a sophisticated backdrop for your event.

The room can cater for up to 120 formally-seated guests, 150 theatre-style and 200 for canapés and drinks receptions.

The Foyle Room

This intimate space is richly decorated in a deep, dark blue with a contemporary, hand-crafted solid French oak table and sumptuously upholstered chairs giving a dramatic backdrop to this period room, perfect for meetings and private dining for up to 12 guests.

The Foyle Room also boasts a bespoke fitted cabinet with bi-folding doors which houses a 55” TV with internet connectivity and web camera, ideal for meetings and presentations.

The Weston Studio

The brilliantly designed Weston Studio is a large new space in the very oldest part of Bristol Old Vic, the barrel cellars of Coopers’ Hall.

This double height studio has a central open area which lends itself perfectly to informal, standing receptions such as drinks and bowl food events for up to 80 guests. Flexible seating at three different heights is also ideal for large presentations and conferences of up to 148 delegates, including the balcony which wraps around three sides of the space.

Black metal seats upholstered in a neutral wool tweed, exposed brick walls and ‘Oxide Red’ painted wood panel strips give the space a contemporary intimacy.

Main Auditorium

The Grade I listed, Georgian auditorium has played host to some the country’s most famous actors, from Daniel Day Lewis and Jeremy Irons, to Patrick Stewart and Judi Dench – and was once described by Peter O’Toole as “the loveliest theatre in the world”.

With an audience capacity of 550 and a stage that can seat 180 diners, this is a truly iconic venue.
