Aarian Mehrabani

Aarian is a multi-award-winning comedian, Writer and Actor.

His debut stand-up show, How’s Your Head? (Commissioned by Lowry), premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026 where it won a Neurodiverse Review Award for outstanding show. And Aarian was named a “Rising star of comedy” by Edinburgh News.

He is Co-Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed theatre company FlawBored. And is best known for co-writing and acting in their smash-hit play It’s a MotherF**king Pleasure, which continues to tour internationally and has been published by Concord Theatricals.

As an actor, he will appear as Darius in David Baddiel’s Channel 4 Drama Hunting Alice Bell, starring Simon Peg. He led The Watermill Theatre’s production of Michael Morpurgo’s The Sleeping Sword, adapted by Tatty Hennessy. And performed at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre in BRINK and Nothing.

He also works in musical theatre, playing “Aziz” in Leo&Hyde’s UK tour of GUY: A New Musical.

In addition to this, he works as a writer and audio description consultant for various traditional, devised and musical theatre companies. Writes for TV. Designs and delivers workshops in a range of educational and corporate settings, releases original music on Spotify under the name “Aarian”, and sits on the audition panel for the BA Acting Programme at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
