Coming from a theatrical family, Abbie has always had a love for acting and all things showbusiness. Being that her late grandfather, Jack Purvis, and her mother, Katie Purvis, were both actors and appeared in the likes of Star Wars, Time Bandits and Harry Potter, you could say that Abbie was destined for the stage. Abbie grew up in Scotland, attending many local theatre schools from a young age, where she developed her love for performing. At the age of 14, she played her first leading role in East Ayrshire Youth Theatre’s production of Annie. Abbie then went on to study Musical Theatre and has appeared in a number of professional pantomimes. Now, at the age of 23, Abbie is beyond excited to be making her professional theatre debut in Waldo’s Circus of Magic & Terror playing Krista.
