Julia Head
Julia is a director of live work originally from Bristol. She has worked extensively with Bristol Old Vic’s Engagement department and was awarded the Henry Augustine Forse Award for her contribution to Engagement. Later, in 2018 she received a Bristol Old Vic Ferment Leverhulme Arts Scholarship to develop her practice. She is currently the Company Director of Young SixSix, the Artistic Director of FullRogue, an Associate Artist at Bristol Old Vic, Associate Director of Twisted Theatre, a trustee of MAYK and she was a Headlong Origins Director 2021. Her production of Wild Swimming by Marek Horn, produced by FullRogue, won the Pleasance Regional Partnership award and the Ronald Duncan Award in 2019 and was selected for the Brits Off Broadway 2020 pre-pandemic.
