Lauren Moakes

Lauren is an actress and voice artist born and raised in Coventry. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama. 

Most recently, Lauren toured the UK and Ireland playing the Defendant in Murder Trial Tonight II, including the Aldwych Theatre (West End), Sadlers Wells and Birmingham Rep. She recently starred as Gretchen in The Gretchen Question for Fuel Theatre/The Albany, directed by Melly Still. Her other theatre credits include Pericles (RSC), Spring Storm (The North Wall), & Islanders (Soho Theatre). She has developed and performed in new writing at The Young Vic, The Old Red Lion, The White Bear and the Arcola.

Lauren is a TriForce Monologue Slam winner (Theatre Royal Stratford East), and has narrated several audiobooks, all of which are available on Audible. 

Lauren is delighted to be making her Belgrade Theatre debut in Romeo and Juliet.
