Mary Sutherland
Mary is an emerging theatre director from the midlands, now based in London. She became deafened in 2018 but continued working as a musical director. She graduated from East 15 MFA Theatre Directing in 2022. Mary is passionate about integrating music, BSL and creative captioning into theatre. Mary specialises in new writing projects and takes a collaborative approach to theatre making. She previously came from a STEM background, and enjoys drawing on unique and unexpected sources for storytelling and devising.
