Pete Flood
Best known for his role as the drummer in the folk big band, Bellowhead, Pete Flood has had an eclectic career taking in work for theatre and dance, large scale composition commissions, remixes, production, as well as playing in ensembles ranging in genre from Japanese klezmer through to Moroccan drum and bass.
For Bristol Old Vic: Composer for The Life and Times of Fanny Hill (2015), The Grinning Man (2016).
Other theatre credits include: Memory Points (2014) at the Southbank Centre and Pinocchio (2013) at the Little Angel.
Compositions include Eddy Smith was Here (2016), a suite of piano miniatures with spoken word; Vici (2012), a suite for 120 young string players and folk musicians and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (2011) at the Southbank Centre.
He has worked as a Musical Director for a national tour and BBC3 concert film of The Music of Sandy Denny (2012), and teaches percussion at Kingston University.
