Sean Kingsley
With a career that has incorporated every theatrical discipline Sean is now a regular leading performer in the West End, on TV and Internationally.
His engagements include the lead roles of Jean Valjean in the West End production of Les Miserables and Freddy Trumper/The American in the 20th anniversary concert of Chess, performed at the Oslo Spektrum Stadium in front of a 10,000 strong audience. Also George in the cult Broadway hit The Drowsy Chaperone alongside Elaine Paige and Braithwaite in the multiple award-winning West End cast of Billy Elliot. Sean also played Annas in the original cast of the Olivier Award-winning Regent’s Park production of Jesus Christ Superstar and created the role of Ursus in The Grinning Man which transferred from Bristol Old Vic To the West End. Most recently he was invited to workshop a new collaboration at The Old Vic for Les Miserables writers Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Shoneberg.
