Technical Training Programme

Bristol Old Vic are delighted to be delivering a free Technical Training Programme as part of this years’ NT Connections. This will be an evening of backstage workshops for 14-18 year-olds, led by industry professionals and facilitators.

The Technical Training Programme will be:

Wednesday 17th December 2025, from 5-8:30pm

During this programme, participants will do hands-on workshops with members of Bristol Old Vic's technical team, in Bristol Old Vic's theatre spaces.

Participants will also be offered 2 free tickets to watch Bristol Old Vic's Christmas show, Treasure Island, for themself and an accompanying adult. Tickets will be offered for Fri 19th Dec 7pm and Sat 20th Dec 7pm performances ONLY, limited tickets available for each show.

This is an open access project; all places are free, we can subsidise transport costs up to £5 for South West-based young people, and you do not need any previous experience to apply.
