A Little Death
Whilst wandering drunkenly in the woods adjacent to his local playing field, local butcher William Williams has an epiphanic moment. He suddenly sees the light. Or, more specifically, two red circles getting closer and closer. He rushes home to tell his daughter, Maeve, and the housekeeper, Maggie, the great news. When he arrives he discovers them gone. All that he finds is a tipped over chair, an unfinished bowl of sausages and an empty box of Belgian chocolates. He leaves the empty house on a mission to share his vision and to discover what might have happened to his beloved family.
Vic Llewellyn (The Castle Builder) explores themes of mass hysteria, loss, and the need for positive change.
