The Bristol Pride Comedy Night is one of the highlights of the festival and Bristol Pride once again presents an incredible line-up of award winning artists. The best names in the circuit are coming to Bristol to celebrate with Pride at this special fundraising evening.
⭐ Jayde Adams
What would we do without her!? Our incredible host for this very special evening is none other than Bristol’s own Jayde Adams. She’s been performing with us for 15 incredible years. She’s an multi award-winning comedian and actress and her critically-acclaimed special was released on Amazon Prime to worldwide applause, was longlisted for an Emmy and has, so far, amassed over 190 million views.
Winner of the Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer award and Funny Women Award for Best Female Comedy Star (2016) she’s the star of the BAFTA winning TV series Alma’s Not Normal on BBC Two, the Take That movie Greatest Days and also stars in ITV’s Ruby Speaking.
Other credits include Good Omens, The Outlaws and she is the co-host of the BAFTA nominated series Snackmasters and Netflix smash hit, Crazy Delicious.
⭐ Morgan Rees
This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. Morgan has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
He’s Toured with Fern Brady, Rhys James, Jayde Adams, Nigel Ng and Paul Chowdhry to name just a few and we’re excited to be able to have Morgan perform with us for this year’s Pride Comedy Night.
⭐ Olga Koch
Olga Koch is a charismatic polymath with a mischievous sense of humour and one hell of a life story. Since 2018 she has been crafting superb shows ranging from computer science to threesomes to being the benefit of Russian generational wealth. In that time, she has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival, appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and won the Writer’s Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy.
She’s hugely talented, hilarious from every possible angle and has a commanding stage presence - with “punchlines to burn" (Guardian) and described by The Scotsman as "One of the most boundary-free, vivaciously charismatic stand-ups currently plying their trade in UK comedy."
⭐ Dane Buckley
The world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian… probably. An award-winning comedian and writer, he delivers his comedy effortlessly with cheeky charm and camp mischief.
Bursting onto the comedy circuit in 2022, making a name for himself by winning Gong Shows and was a finalist in LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year (2022), British Comedian of the Year (2024) and BBC New Comedy Awards (2024).
Whether it’s stories of his early years (Irish mammies, Indian grannies, and rebel priests) or his career in social care (chasing pensioners through Paris or delivering a baby impromptu) audiences across the UK are enjoying Dane’s hilarious and heart-warming tales.
He’s toured with Tom Allen, Rosie Jones, Joanne McNally and Josh Widdicombe, featured on Comedy Central, BBC Three and BBC One, and is a regular on the club and festival circuit. Dane co-hosts the hugely popular podcast Welcome to Hell alongside Daniel Foxx, the Infernal Aunties judge outrageous confessions, celebrate the salacious and revel in a good old-fashioned gossip.
⭐ Sophie Duker
Sophie Duker is a comedian and writer whose favourite things include breaking hearts, taking names and telling jokes with the confidence of a cis straight middle-class white man.
Her Edinburgh Fringe Show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award and gained critical acclaim and five star reviews, leading to a two week sold out run at Soho Theatre.
Sophie is a regular guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2). She has appeared on Live at The Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Hypothetical (Dave).
Sophie is the winner of the 13th series of Taskmaster (Channel 4) and we are very excited to be welcoming her back to perform with us at the Bristol Pride Comedy Night.
