Leave the Light Ensemble are a group of young theatre makers, who take a playful and fresh approach to original and existing work. Heartfelt, half-baked but full of flavour. They first established their ensemble through the Made in Bristol programme and are currently collaborative, yet physically distant. They remain hopeful in the face of adversity.
Made in Bristol is a training scheme for aspiring young theatre makers. Through their associate relationship with Bristol Old Vic, the project provides a springboard for the work of a new group of 18–25 year-olds each academic year. Previous companies have included The Wardrobe Ensemble (RIOT), Propolis Theatre (Spill), Play the Goat (Off-Peak) and INKBLOC Ensemble (LEGO® Beach).
