Get Involved, Change the Outcome
in collaboration with Bristol Old Vic EngagementGet Involved, Change the Outcome is a Cardboard Citizens event looking at the issue of homelessness in our city. The evening will start by showcasing a scratch sharing based on a two-week ‘Cardboard Camp’ residency here at Bristol Old Vic.
Using Theatre of the Oppressed techniques, the Camp’s participants – all people from across Bristol with lived experience of homelessness – have woven together a thought-provoking exploration of the issues that lie behind this deeply important issue.
This performance will provide a platform for an interactive debate and panel discussion asking us all what we can do differently, and what systems and policies need to change to help the people affected by homelessness.
Katy Rubin, founder of Theatre of the Oppressed NYC, will be chairing the panel with speakers to be confirmed.
