Join Assistant Director of Equus , Denzel Westley-Sanderson and English Touring Theatre Producer, James Quaife, for an exclusive Q&A session about the process of creating this brand new production of Peter Shaffer’s classic.
Denzel Westley-Sanderson
Denzel Westley-Sanderson trained in Theatre Directing at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2017. He previously gained his First Class honours degree in Theatre and Professional Practice from Coventry University. Since graduating Denzel was a part of the resident directors pool at the Almeida Theatre.
Director credits include: Identity (Young Actors Theatre), Tiger Mum (Theatre 503), Much Ado About Nothing (Mountview), Head, Shoulders, Knees and Elbows (Bunker Theatre), Saturday (Karamel Club) and The Chairs (Custard Factory).
Associate credits include: Trenches (Bridewell Theatre)
Assisting credits include: The Wild Duck (Almeida Theatre), End of the Pier (Park Theatre) and Creative Assistant on the revival of Jesus Christ Superstar (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre).
James Quaife
James Quaife has been the Producer for English Touring Theatre since 2014, productions include: Arcadia, The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead, The Herbal Bed, Brideshead Revisited, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Hamlet, Silver Lining, Rules for Living, A Streetcar Named Desire, Dealing with Clair, Equus and The Funeral Director.
Prior to joining ETT James produced the world premiere of Barking in Essex starring Lee Evans, Shelia Hancock and Keeley Hawes (Wyndham’s Theatre, West End), Good People starring Imelda Staunton (Noel Coward Theatre, West End), Next Fall starring Charlie Condou (Southwark Playhouse), Step 9 (of 12) starring Blake Harrison and Precious Little Talent (Trafalgar Studios, West End). James is also one of the producers on Sweat, which will transfer from the Donmnar Theatre to the Gielgud Theatre for a limited run in June this year.
