Family Day (Oct Half Term 2025)
A Day of Free Family ActivitiesBring your family to Bristol Old Vic and make paper come to life with some crafty skills and puppetry like our half term kids show, The Paper Dolls.
The day will be full of workshops, crafts, dressing up and an activity trail.
All activities are free. This is a drop in event, but workshops can be pre-booked.
What to Expect...
Puppetry Workshops 🎭
Learn how to make everyday objects come to life with a puppetry workshop, led by one of Bristol Old Vic’s skilled theatre makers. Please note, these workshops are designed with children aged 5 – 10 in mind.
Puppetry Workshop 1: 10:45am – 11:30am
Puppetry Workshop 2:11:45am – 12:30pm
Puppetry Workshop 3: 12:45pm – 1:30pm
Crafts 🎨
Make your own paper dolls and see what adventures you might have together.
Activity Trail 🔎
Find clues hidden around the building in an exclusive trail around Bristol Old Vic.
Dress Up 🎩
Get into character in our dressing up corner.
Quiet Corner 😌
If you need a break from all the fun, head to Sarah’s Den in the pit passageway to relax and read a story.
