Great Western Air Ambulance Charity Comedy Event
Laughter is the Best Medicine: A Night of Comedy in Aid of Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
Join Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) for a night of entertainment featuring some of the best comedians from Bristol and beyond.
100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go towards keeping GWAAC's service operational. Your laughs can help save lives.
The evening will be hosted by internationally award-winning comedian, and Bristol local, Stuart Goldsmith. Host of the hit The Comedian’s Comedian podcast, and an Edinburgh Festival Fringe veteran, Stuart’s reputation for smart, accessible stand-up makes him the perfect compere for the evening.
The show will also feature a short film about GWAAC’s work, as well as a guest appearance from a Critical Care Doctor.
GWAAC provide the critical care and air ambulance service for 2.1 million people across the counties of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, parts of Wiltshire and surrounding counties.
As a charity, they receive no day-to-day funding from the Government or National Lottery and need to raise over £4 million each year to stay operational. This means they rely on the generosity of donors and supporters to keep flying.
