Back at the iconic Bristol Old Vic for the third year, we are delighted to host an evening of the biggest laughs from Bristol and the UK’s best comedians!
100% of proceeds will go to support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and their lifesaving mission.
Mike Wozniak will be headlining the night and delighting the audience with his comedic charm and whimsical storytelling.
Fresh from winning Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, Stuart Goldsmith will be hosting the evening and introducing the comedians including local legend Dani Johns who will share her funny and honest stories full of Bristolian charm and Julia Stenton, who recently appeared in the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Woman Awards in 2022.

About the comedians
Hosting the evening and keeping everyone laughing is Bristol’s own Stuart Goldsmith; fresh from his win of Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, Stuart will bring his witty charm and relatable stories to the stage and keep everything ticking along.
The wonderful Mike Wozniak will be headlining the show and delighting everyone with his comedic charm and whimsical storytelling. After winning the nations hearts (if not Greg’s golden head) in Taskmaster 2021, touring his show ‘Zusa’, and having just been announced as the Taskmaster Assistant in Junior Taskmaster, we are delighted to bring him to Bristol to headline Heli Laughs!
We love to showcase some local comedic talent and welcome Dani Johns back to the Old Vic to share her quick witted and brutally honest storytelling full of Bristolian charm. She will be joined by fellow local, Julia Stenton, who finished in the semi-finals of the 2022 BBC New Comedy awards and Funny Woman Awards!
From a little further afield and fresh from winning the nation’s hearts on this years Britain’s Got Talent, Abi Carter-Simpson and her ukulele will be performing her funny and charming songs just for you! Also from London, we have Steve Bugeja, who you’ll recognise from ITV’s Buffering, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Love Island: Aftersun.
Completing our line up is Welsh and Spanish comedian Ignacio Lopez! He has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Celebrity Pointless and will be taking his show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. Known for taking the mickey out of Brits, we cant wait to see what he has in store for us!

100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go towards keeping GWAAC's service operational and delivering critical care and pre-hospital emergency medicine to Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire.
GWAAC sends the skill and equipment of a hospital Emergency Department to the scene of the most serious medical and trauma incidents. Through their Helicopter and Critical Care Cars, they rapidly dispatch this specialist team to emergency situations, from re-starting people’s hearts, to giving blood at the scene of an accident and performing life-saving care, all before the patient reaches the hospital, giving them a better chance of survival.
