About the comedians
Hosting the evening and sharing his insights into Bristol and the climate crisis from his recent tour, Spoilers, Stuart Goldsmith will bring his witty charm and relatable stories to the stage and keep everything ticking along.
We are delighted to have Nabil Abdulrashid headline the evening and entertaining us with his refreshingly radical fare and sharp eye for the absurdities of racial discourse.
After becoming a household name with a Golden Buzzer performance on Britain’s Got Talent, he has been on tour across the UK, featured on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, House of Games and more! We can’t wait to welcome him to the Old Vic stage.
You will probably have seen our next comedian, Vittorio Angelone, on social media if the algorithm has blessed you thusly. Vittorio is an Italian-Irish comedian from Belfast who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022. He has built a large following online through podcasts, sketches and stand-up clips amassing millions of views. Check him out for a taste of what to expect at Heli Laughs!
And they are just the start! We will be announcing more acts as we get closer to Heli Laughs. Stay tuned for more!

About Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC)
100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go towards keeping GWAAC's service operational and delivering critical care and pre-hospital emergency medicine to Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire.
GWAAC sends the skill and equipment of a hospital Emergency Department to the scene of the most serious medical and trauma incidents. Using our helicopter and critical care cars, we rapidly transport our specialist team to emergency situations, from re-starting people’s hearts, to giving blood at the scene of an accident and performing lifesaving care, all before the patient reaches the hospital to give them a better chance of survival and recovery.
We look forward to seeing you at the theatre!
