Usually disabled people just want to do the right thing. But what if they don’t?
What if they were out to make as much money as possible from the guilt of non-disabled, anxious people (like you?). Hot off the back of their smash-hit run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, multi-award-winning, disability-led theatre company FlawBored present It’s a Motherf**king Pleasure; ‘a smart, scathing satire’ on the monetisation of identity politics that spares no-one.
Edinburgh Untapped Award 2023. Supported by Arts Council England Project Grants, Wildcard, The Watermill, Theatre Deli and Camden People’s Theatre.

About the Company
FlawBored is a multi-award-winning, disability-led theatre company, co-founded by Samuel Brewer, Aarian Mehrabani and Chloe Palmer. They create meta-theatrical work with dark irreverence which aims to address complex and uncomfortable issues surrounding identity which no one has the answers to.
This show uses Creative Captioning
What is Creative Captioning?
Creative Captioned performances convert live spoken word into text that appears on a screen for d/Deaf or hard of hearing audiences. Rather than standard captioning, the text is considered as part of the set design, and may be animated and move across the screen, or appear in different colours or fonts.
Creative Captioning also typically appears as a projection at the back of the stage, rather than on separate screens. If you have any further questions about the Captions used in It's a Motherf**king Pleasure, please email access@bristololdvic.org.uk
