Bristol School of Acting Presents
Piaf
By Pam Gems –“Every damn fool thing in this life you pay for”
So pronounced Édith Piaf on her death bed in 1963, aged just 47. Personal tragedy and an addiction to morphine was the price she paid for extraordinary fame.
Piaf charts her rise from the Paris streets to become one of the most popular performers in the world, and its highest paid star, featuring her greatest songs performed with a live band.
