Young Company Summer School sessions will be available to book from Wed 15 Apr at 10am.
Young Company Summer School is returning to Bristol Old Vic!
This summer, Young Company Summer School participants will look at Magical Realism – blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy.
Combining stories of everyday people and places with the fantastical and the surreal, we will explore the use of supernatural elements in ordinary settings. How can the fantastical act as a mirror to the world around us?
Working as writers, performers, set designers, and sound artists, we’ll be exploring this genre using a range of creative forms: from creating foley soundscapes to collaborative devising; world building to character driven writing.
By the end of the week, we’ll be ready to share what we’ve been exploring in front of an audience of friends and family.
Sessions will run every day from Mon 3 Aug to Fri 7 Aug, 10am–3pm
How to Book a Young Company Summer School Place Online
