Zog
Based on the book by Julia Donaldson & Axel SchefflerLarge in size and keen in nature, Zog is eager to win a golden star at Madam Dragon’s school, where dragons learn all the things that dragons need to know.
Zog tries so very hard, perhaps too hard, and he bumps, burns and roars his way through years one, two and three. Luckily, the plucky Princess Pearl patches him up ready to face his biggest challenge yet… a duel with knight, Sir Gadabout the Great!
The smash-hit stage adaptation from Freckle Productions (the team behind Zog and the Flying Doctors and Stick Man) is back and promises to be bigger, brighter and more roar-some than ever before! With lively songs from Joe Stilgoe and directed by Emma Kilbey, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s much-loved Zog is a magical production for all ages.

What’s Good to Do
Relaxed Performance
There is a Relaxed Performance of Zog on 11 Apr, 10.30am.
In a Relaxed Performance the sound levels are reduced, along with any flashing lights or loud bangs/noises that would normally happen throughout the performance. The house lights are also kept on at a reduced level.
If you need any further assistance, for example if a visit to the Theatre in advance of the show, then either contact the Box Office on 0117 987 7877 (1pm to 6pm Mon to Sat) or email access@bristololdvic.org.uk and we will try and help you in any way we can!
Free Easter Activity Trail 🐰
From 5 – 16 Apr, we will be running a free Easter Activity Trail! Simply pick up an activity sheet from our Kitchen + Bar, and see if you can find all of the Easter pictures hidden around our building. Each picture is also accompanied with a different piece of history about Bristol Old Vic.
If you can find all five, tick them off on your sheet and bring it back to Kitchen + Bar where you can win a chocolatey treat!
