An Apple in Our Eyes?

Twenty-three year old Richard Milward's play Apples, coming to the Studio in late June, promises to lift the 'hood' on youth culture, delving into the fears, desires and confusions of teenagers in the noughties.Five fifteen year olds speak poetically about a world free from adults and responsibility, where vice is always ready at hand.  A discussion on whether the definition of contemporary youth is being old before your time?This young writer brings an authenticity to the subject matter as a front-line soldier in the 'now'. Containing strong language and violent content, Apples is set to lay bare the vulnerability behind the stereotypes. The show is not suitable for under 14s, but the messages are current and specifically relevant to an older teenage audience.
