Booking is now open for a very special, oneoff, 'Beyond' workshop, which is taking place at Bristol Old Vic as part of the fabulous 'Bristol Jam' - Bristol's Festival of Improvisation.

An exciting and unique opportunity to go beyond what you thought physically, vocally and emotionally possible with award winning performer and theatre maker, Dr Karla Shacklock (Precarious, Fleur Darkin Company, Marie-Gabrielle Rotie, Mimbre). The workshops are open to performers from all disciplines (dance, theatre, live art, circus, music) and will explore Karla’s highly innovative approach to accessing the performance consciousness in order to reveal the true self. Highly physical and explorative, the workshops will be jam packed full of discoveries and openings. We'll store all our experiences in glass jars and at the end of the day there will be a full and structured improvisation (possibly for a small audience) where we will re-open and perform these jars.
