Briefly describe (for us) what your show is about?
I have been interviewing older LGBT adults in Bristol and Bath about their personal and social histories.

Now describe it in 3 words.
Touching, revealing, hidden

Is it similar to what you’ve done previously or are you trying something new?
I interviewed and made a theatre show interviewing some LGBT people, Ferment has allowed me to interview more people and work in a site specific way and show places that are a stones throw from Bristol Old Vic that are important to older Gay people.

How will it make people feel? / What will it make people think about?
Moving, and people stories are important that they put a sense of meaning into how we lead our life today.  Hopefully people will think that the personal is political.

What stage will it be at in its development when we see it in January?
It is a new way of working, but the piece will be complete.

What elements in particular are you looking forward to testing it out on Ferment audiences?
Working in site, streets that are rich in memories.

What are your personal highlights of the line-up for January’s Ferment Fortnight?
Ed Rapley is always an engaging performer.
