INKBLOC Ensemble Cast Bio | Alison
12 Jun 2017Ahead of their debut show, LEGO Beach, we sat down with INKBLOC Ensemble to discover a little more about this year’s Made in Bristol troupe.
Here we caught up with Alison to find out all about her Bristol Old Vic theatre background.
What you have been involved in at the Bristol Old Vic and outside of Made in Bristol?
I got involved with Bristol Old Vic through the playwriting scheme Studioscripts whilst at University and volunteered with the engagement department with the Open Stage Days.
Where have you studied?
I studied at the University of Bristol and graduated last year with a BA (Hons) in Drama: Theatre, Film and Television with upper division (2:1).
What is this year for you?
A chance to develop my skills and knowledge of devising theatre and start making connections in the Bristol theatre scene in outside University.
Favourite thing about Made in Bristol/ INKBLOC?
Making great friends! I'm excited for what the future holds for INKBLOC. It's been amazing to have two days a week to play, create and have a break away from the "normal" jobs!
What are your plans for the future?
To keep creating and teaching theatre!
Tell us something interesting about you or a skill that you have?
I love playing music and instruments...I am determined to play all of them!
LEGO Beach is INKBLOC Ensemble’s debut show, on Walkabout at 1532 Performing Arts Centre 19-22 July. For more information and to book, click here.
