The Great Bristol Elephant Adventure is back for this February half term!
9 Feb 20235 Cultural Venues, 1 week of activities.
A Bristol Elephant Adventure is back this February Half Term, bringing pre-school children and their families another week of free cross-cultural activities.
After a hugely successful launch week in October Half Term, where Bristol Old Vic joined forces with cultural venues across the City Centre, A Bristol Elephant Adventure is back this February, with the same five fabulous venues: Royal West of England Academy (RWA), St George’s Bristol, Bristol Old Vic, Bristol Beacon and Brunel’s SS Great Britain.
"Our 3 year-old loved it!"
"It's the best for kids. We had a fabulous day, please, please do more!"
- Parent comments from Bristol Elephant Adventure, Oct Half Term.
There are a host of brilliant activities to take part in at each of the venues and don’t forget to collect a stamp at each stop on the tour.
This week of activities sits alongside the hugely successful Elephant Adventure Pushchair Tour which is available all year round for the tiniest intrepid explorers. Information can be found here: A Bristol Elephant Adventure: Pushchair Tour | Bristol Old Vic

Brunel's SS Great Britain
‘Eat your way to Australia’ with Brunel’s SS Great Britain this February half term.
As the lowest class voyagers aboard the SS Great Britain, steerage passengers didn’t have much to look forward to at mealtimes. When they boarded the ship to Australia in the 1850s, they didn’t just face a gruelling two month voyage, they were also about to endure one of the chewiest diets in history!
From 11-19 Feb, join a member of the SS Great Britain crew to find out whether you could stomach the rations of a Victorian voyager or whether you would rather go hungry.
Brunel’s SS Great Britain is suitable for families of all ages, with a children’s menu in the café, access throughout the site for pushchairs and spaces to breastfeed if required.
Eat Your Way to Australia is included with entry to Brunel’s SS Great Britain.
