ClubBOV | A New club for theatre-curious 16-30s
8 Jul 2025
Last month we launched a brand new membership for theatre-curious 16-30yr olds called ClubBOV.
If you fancy dipping your toe into theatre for the first time, or want to try something outside your comfort zone without it costing you next week's coffee money - ClubBOV might be worth a shot.
We caught up with Dylan our director of Sales and Marketing about our latest membership scheme.
"We’ve loved seeing more and more new faces at our theatre shows and free music events over the past few years – and what’s even better is that we're seeing more younger people through the doors than before 2020.
It got us thinking about ways we could make it even easier for young people to give theatre a go and take some of the financial pressures off too.
When I was young (ages ago) I had incentives to see different types of theatre shows and that experience hooked me on theatre for life. I'll never forget seeing The Wrestling School or London Contemporary Dance, and more recently NDT2 and Robert Lapage. It often doesn't take too much persuasion to take a leap into something new!
So, we wanted to give more incentives to more young people to explore the amazing array of live theatre we present. That’s why we’ve launched ClubBOV – a brand new, totally free membership just for 16–30 year olds that's packed with perks.
Basically, it’s all about getting more out of your trips to Bristol Old Vic, whether you're here for a show, a coffee, or just a good time."
