with Gareth Farr, Louise Brown and Dr Valentine AkandeJoin the Bruntwood prize-winning playwright Gareth Farr for this intimate Stage Talk about his new play, A Child of Science.
Gareth will discuss the inspiration for the play, the societies changing attitudes towards fertility since the 1970s, his research into the incredible, often hidden people that developed the science behind IVF, and the army of women that helped them achieve the impossible.
He is joined by Louise Brown, the first ever IVF-conceived baby, and now a figurehead and passionate advocate for fertility, and Dr Valentine Akande, Medical Director & Lead Clinician at the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine.
