After a raucous evening of swing in 2022, Bristol Community Big Band returns by popular demand.
Made up of non-professional musicians from across Bristol and the South West, BCBB is unofficially (but very probably) the biggest big band in Bristol. Led by local trumpet legend, Jonny Bruce, come along for a free evening of high energy big band music in the beautiful BOV foyer space.
Expect all the hits from the golden era of swing, from Duke Ellington to Dizzy Gillespie, with special guests from across the Bristol jazz scene. Plus, make sure to bring your dancing shoes! Tables will be cleared for the dance floor so there'll be plenty of room to get down.
