Introduction to Creating Character
with Katy OwenExplore how to find character through improvisation in this playful 2-hour workshop. Using a range of exercises, you’ll be taught new ways of improvising, to develop techniques which will open possibilities for character.
This is a fun and energetic workshop that is open to everyone – no previous experience of improvisation, acting or comedy is needed, but if you have some theatre training it will arm you with new techniques.
Katy Owen trained at Royal Welsh College of Music Drama and has performed with Shakespeare’s Globe and Kneehigh Theatre. She plays Grandma Chance in Wise Children.
