Making Theatre Work for Family Audiences with Kate Pasco
An Artist Forum EventHow do you create theatre that truly connects across generations?
In this dynamic workshop, theatre-maker Kate Pasco (Associate Director on Antarctica) shares practical tools, creative strategies, and real-world insights on developing engaging, meaningful work for family audiences.
From crafting stories that resonate with both children and adults to more of the practical implications of a family audience, participants will explore how to make theatre that’s playful, purposeful, and inclusive.
Ideal for artists, producers, and educators looking to expand their practice and make theatre that welcomes everyone.
The Forum is our programme of support for all artists offering workshops, meet ups and bespoke offers that enable artistic community to connect with each other, the wider sector and Bristol Old Vic’s work.
This event is part of a selection of free meet-ups and panel discussions, programmed on Saturdays across the year; offering the chance to connect with fellow artists and a variety of organisations and expertise from the wider sector.
Parents or carers with childcare responsibilities are welcome to bring their children to any event.
