Join us for a session of facilitated peer learning and support for performance makers who create or present performance with communities or non-professional artists and are looking for a space to reflect on your work, develop your practice and connect with others in the field.
We invite participants to bring an anonymised challenge from their current practice, whether it’s navigating group dynamics, accessibility, safeguarding, participation, wellbeing or creative decision-making. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, Facilitator Viki Browne will guide reflective conversations helping participants explore different perspectives and draw on the collective experience of the group. We hope the session will strengthen peer support networks and individual practice with strategies and approaches to take away and try.
This session is for you if you create participatory, socially engaged, applied, co-created or community-based performance. It is also open to other disciplines including as dance, socially engaged art, LARPing, academics or immersive game designers.
