Spring & Share
Spring & Share is a performance day for the Bristol Old Vic Engagement Department’s adult groups and community groups from around the city to celebrate their work.
It’s an opportunity for them to present the different themes they’ve been delving into this Spring to an invited audience. Over the course of the day, work will be showcased from over 100 Bristol creatives!
Oi Polloi
Oi Polloi have been delving into the dark and light of Mary Shelley’s formidable tale. The loneliness of being an outcast, the judgement of those looking on but also how we might tell our story with humour and hope, exploring the mistrust and strength of a community.
They are a community theatre company who work closely with BDP and began their journey with cardboard citizens. They work with Bristol people with a lived experience of homelessness and addiction, and those looking for an extra influx of joy from our weekly meetings.
Rising Voices Choir
We will be exploring seasonal songs celebrating the return of the sun and warmer days!
Rising Voices is part of BDP’s Creative Communities program. Our groups are open to anyone with lived experience of using drugs, their families, and people who work or volunteer in similar services.

This workshop series is supported by Patterns in Practice, an AHRC-funded project exploring how beliefs, values and feelings shape engagement with AI technologies. The project is led by the University of Sheffield and the University of the West of England.
