Swing in the Bar with BCBB
When BOV meets BCBB...
Unofficially (but very likely) the 'biggest big band in Bristol', join Bristol Community Big Band in the Bristol Old Vic bar on Wed 16 Nov for a wide repertoire of swing, jazz, blues and Latin big band classics.
Expect some high energy big band bangers from the golden era of swing, from Duke Ellington to Dizzy Gillespie. Led by local trumpet legend, Jonny Bruce, and joined by some special guests from the Bristol jazz scene, this will be a night to remember.
Previously headlining Dig For Victory Festival, multiple appearances at Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival and Bristol Harbour Festival amphitheatre stage, and featuring regularly on BBC Radio Bristol, don't miss this special appearance at the stunning BOV Courtyard Space.
Plus, make sure to bring your dancing shoes! Tables will be cleared for the dance floor so there'll be plenty of room to get down – and of course, swing dancers are welcome.
Food served at Kitchen + Bar all day until 10pm.
