Volunteer Open Day
This year will see the re-opening of Bristol Old Vic’s freshly refurbished Front of House spaces, along with a new Studio Theatre, Bar & Kitchen and unique Heritage offer that will journey across the Theatre's complete 252-year history.
To coincide with the launch, we're introducing our first Heritage Volunteer programme, providing a range of opportunities to gain new skills, meet new people and get a backstage insight into the inner-workings of our fast-paced organisation.
Working alongside the Front of House team, volunteers will support the delivery of our warm visitor welcome and unforgettable Theatre experience. We want you to showcase our revolving exhibitions, graffiti walls, treasure hunts, interactive displays and augmented reality experience, available for one and all to explore.
How to Get Involved...
We’re inviting anyone with passion and curiosity to join us on Sat 8 Sep to discuss the exciting opportunities we have on offer. Expressions of further interest can be registered during the event, and you'll be able to complete a mini-interview* with a member of our team if you'd like to sign up on the day.
No experience is necessary - just friendly faces and a keen interest is all we ask! As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, religion or belief.
If you have any access needs or additional requirements that we can facilitate, please email access@bristololdvic.org.uk. Alternatively, you can call us on 0117 987 7877 and ask to speak with Liz Hebden, Front of House Manager.
*Please note: Volunteers are required to be aged 16 and over. Volunteer offers will only be made subject to satisfactory reference checks. All mini-interviews are subject to staff availability on the day.
