Wonder Boy: Stage Talk
With Sally Cookson, Stephen Bailey and Nancy MedinaJoin Olivier Award-winning Director Sally Cookson for an intimate Stage Talk about the critically-acclaimed Bristol Old Vic production of Wonder Boy, by Ross Willis.
The panelists will discuss the vital importance of having accessibility within theatre, as well as having work created and performed by individuals with lived experience of disability.
Sally Cookson will be joined by the artistic lead of Vital Xposure Stephen Bailey. Vital Xposure are a disabled-led touring theatre company that promote hidden voices with extraordinary stories to tell. Mary Sutherland, an emerging theatre director from the midlands, now based in London. She became deafened in 2018 but continued working as a musical director. Nancy Medina, Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic, will be chairing the talk.
