It takes a big Merry Crew to make a Merry Christmas

It takes a bigger merry crew than you think to make a Merry Christmas at BOV. 

We went behind the scenes at Bristol Old Vic and The Wardrobe Ensemble's Robin Hood: Legend of the Forgotten Forest to see how they do it...

It takes stage managers to practice the scenes again...

and again...

and again.

It takes Technicians,

Directors and Designers,

this guy in a party hat,

and this one in a pair of tights.

And this table! 

But no thank you to wardrobe malfunctions! 

No 21st century Mediaeval Christmas show would be complete without a contemporary dance number *(and light sabres). 

All to get the show fighting fit in time for the toughest critics of them all - the KIDS!
