King Richard has fallen into a seemingly endless sleep and the Sheriff has stumbled into power. He is increasing taxes, building a wall and harassing the royal maid - serving no one but himself.
Somebody needs to stop the Sheriff, but Robin Hood has been forced into hiding on the ‘wrong‘ side of the wall and no one can wake Richard. Will Marion save the day? Will Lady Eleanor discover the truth? And can the Outlaws live up to their reputation and save the poor from the rich?
Join us for a fresh re-telling of Robin Hood: an adventure story full of greed, corruption and rough justice.

Robin Hood's presented in association with Colston Hall's Hoo-Ha! Festival
Robin Hood is a part of Colston Hall’s Hoo-Ha! festival this year. Started in 2015, Hoo-Ha! is an summer celebration of fun for all the family. In addition to Robin Hood at Bristol Old Vic, back at Festival HQ in Colston Hall's foyer, there'll be days packed full of music, dancing, arts & crafts, workshops and fantastical performances, and more free fun than you can shake a stick at. Find out more here.
We’d like to also offer you free tickets to a pilot of our child-friendly tours before the show. Tours begin an hour before showtime. They will start from our foyer, near the Box Office and will last 45 minutes.
Tours are free, but we would like some feedback afterwards so we know what was interesting and if there was anything you felt we should add or could improve. There will be a form ready at the end of your tour. Book your tour places below.
