Meet Our Partners - VWV

6 Feb 2026

There are many people involved in making sure a theatre can run successfully.  Much of Bristol Old Vic’s work would not be possible without the support of corporate partners.

Who are VWV?

VWV is a national law firm, with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, London and Watford, which can trace its history back to the early 19th century.

VWV and its HR consultancy, Narrow Quay HR, support work across a range of sectors and specialisms, including the wider creative sector in the southwest region and beyond.

Over the past year, Bristol Old Vic is proud to have the support of VWV as a Corporate Partner. Now entering the second year of our three-year partnership, our relationship continues to grow, supporting meaningful development and training opportunities for young people.

What does VWV support?

VWV’s support is directed towards our Young Company programme and its bursary scheme, ensuring that young people can access high-quality creative experiences regardless of their financial circumstances. This commitment makes a tangible impact, expanding the opportunities available for young people and reaching into all of our Engagement Programmes.

We are really proud to be a corporate partner of Bristol Old Vic. Year one of our partnership has been really exciting, being able to support the Young Company programme and its bursary scheme. We look forward to the continued development of our partnership as we move into year two.

This year, VWV’s support played a significant role in the Young Company and Young Six Six production, How Do You Sleep at Night?, which ran from 14th–17th January. The devised piece explored the thoughts, worries, and questions that keep us awake at night, offering young performers the opportunity to collaboratively create bold and honest theatre rooted in their own experiences.

Together, the partnership also helped provide bursary places to the Young Company programme throughout the year. These bursaries are vital in removing barriers to participation and ensuring young people can fully engage in creative learning and performance at Bristol Old Vic.

What's next?

VWV’s ongoing involvement has enabled us to deliver inclusive creative experiences, making a real difference to the young people in our programmes. As we continue in our partnership, we look forward to building on this impact and supporting even more young voices to be heard on and off the stage
