How would you like to get married in one of the world's most renowned theatres?
Bristol Old Vic is offering loved-up couples a rare chance to do just that as, for the first time, the King Street venue releases dates exclusively for weddings in summer 2027. Couples will be able to hire the unique venue for two weeks, from Tue 20 Jul – Sun 1 Aug.
For one couple, use of the space will be gifted to them – a wedding present worth more than £10,000.
Tink Trim, Bristol Old Vic’s Hospitality & Events Manager, said: “We get lots of enquiries from couples who want to get married at Bristol Old Vic, but access to space around our busy theatre programme is very limited. Next year, we’re releasing two weeks in the summer exclusively to host weddings.”
Surprise Wedding Gifts
Bristol Old Vic will be available from Monday to Saturday across both weeks, with a surprise wedding gift allocated to each day. The special gift will be revealed to each couple when they book their date. Gifts include couples’ pre-wedding wine tastings, cases of fizz to celebrate on the day, ticket packages for theatre shows and, for one lucky couple, a 100% discount on venue hire.
