Interpretation

In museums and heritage sites, anything that helps us to explore and engage with the past is called interpretation. 

From the very beginning of our Heritage project, we wanted our interpretation to be as engaging and high quality as the performances we showcase at Bristol Old Vic. To do that, we’ve developed a whole range of creative displays, from traditional exhibitions and installations to an innovative augmented reality experience. Really, anything can be interpretation!

Did you know you can stop by even if you aren’t watching a show? 

Our building is open to the public Monday – Saturday to explore, use our café or look at our exhibitions and displays.
